From ūtaðra ‘extra, outside’ (from Middle Valthungian ūtaðro, from Old Valthungian ūtaðrō, from Griutungi ūtaþrō, cf. Gothic ūtaþrō, from ProtoGermanic ūtaiþrô) and mǣns ‘common, regular, normal’ (from Middle and Old Valthungian mǣns, from Griutungi mǣns, cf. Gothic mains, from ProtoGermanic mainiz).
